The Partiologist: Gifts Yule Love!

Gifts Yule Love!

I think it's mandatory to dip pretzel sticks in chocolate for Christmas.  And through the years, I have dipped, sprinkled, sparkled, rolled, boxed and bagged chocolate covered pretzels in about every way.

Except this way...

Package them like bundles of logs.

Yule Logs!

Chocolate dipped pretzels have never been so sweet.

They are so cute, I don't know if I can part with them...

So you'll have to make your own and I'll show you how!

Use either large or small pretzel rods (I used small).

Dip in chocolate and lay on cooling rack for excess chocolate to drip off.

Place on wax paper and drizzle with white chocolate.

Cut off the end and cut down the side of a clear packaging bag.  Lay it open.

Lay four pretzel logs across the bottom.

Add three pretzel logs.

Then top with two pretzel logs.

Wrap the cellophane bag around the pretzels and tape the bottom.

Tuck the sides down and tape to bottom.

Break off a small piece of greenery and add a few berries.

Add ribbon and tie together!

If you don't have time to be packaging up bundles of logs, try this~

Little Dippers...small pretzel rods dipped in caramel, walnuts, chocolate and more walnuts.  Or...

  Dip, Dip, Dip, Drizzle, Sprinkle.

Have a Cool Yule!

  5. I agree that your packaging sets these pretzels apart. Is there a trick to tying such a perfectly neat bow? I can't tie a bow for the life of me....

    1. Really, no trick - I just work with the ribbon until I get it right.
