The Partiologist: Diamond Ring Cake Pops!

Diamond Ring Cake Pops!

I finally have reason to make the Diamond Ring Cake Pops!  I've had the mold just waiting for the perfect time to use it.  Now is that time.

Diamond Ring Cake Pops!

The cake pops were not easy.  Or maybe I should say making the Diamond was not easy.  But with a little patience and practice, I figured out a way to put a ring on it.

On the cake pop that is.

I used a chocolate mold, filled with grey candy melts.  After I removed them from the mold, I painted each band with silver shimmer dust (mixed with vodka). Then painted only the diamond with karo syrup and sprinkled with sugar sprinkles.

Yes. Then I drank the Vodka.  Just Kidding.

Use a little candy melts on the back of the ring and placed it on the cake pop.

    1. Yes, a regular cake pop and add a little bit of melted candy melts to the back of the diamond to attach it to the cake pop. Thanks so much!

  4. Is the prong setting all the way around the Diamond or just from the front view?
