The Partiologist: It's a Girl!

It's a Girl!

It's a Girl!  Today I can officially announce I have my first grand baby and I am thrilled to pieces.  She arrived September 10th and is the sweetest baby ever.  Like ever.  In preparation for her arrival, I did what every Gramma Gigi would do.  Make cookies.  I thought it would be fun for her to hand out to visitors and staff at the hospital taking care of her.

It's a Girl!

The cookies were such fun to make in anticipation of her arrival!

I knew her first name but had to keep it a secret until the day of the birth.  I only slipped up once, it was to my sister, but she wasn't listening to me so it worked out great!  hahaha

Now I can share her name with everyone!  Brynlee Rose

I just realized, even though I had no idea of her middle name, I actually had it on the cookie.  Do you see what I see?

Her name with the roses!

After I had the cookies packaged, I needed to find a way to serve them at the hospital.

I found a black box I had on hand, filled it with pink shred, the cookies on top and it worked perfectly!

Sweet cookies for the arrival of a sweet baby girl!

Now, introducing my new Love...Brynlee Rose!

I am blessed and so very thankful for my sweet little granddaughter, Brynlee Rose!

  1. Of course there were cookies! And with a rose! At least you got to know her name. I only found out after she was born. Caroline Ruth. My grandmother’s name was Caroline and my mother’s name was Ruth (and my middle name). Very special. Enjoy your little bundle. She will love your cookies!
