The Partiologist: Summer S'mores + TWO More!

Summer S'mores + TWO More!

It's going to be a busy week for you.  You might just want to make these...
Sweets from the baby shower included summer S'mores all tied up in pretty packages.  Everything tastes better in pretty packaging don't you think?

Pretty Summer S'mores

I had pastel chocolate left over from the Dotted Swiss pretzels, so I decided to make the Summer S'mores.  Another Easy Peasy treat.
(Spell check is trying to tell me peasy is not a word.)  I didn't listen.
Start by laying out graham crackers, top with a dot of melted candy melts and a Jet Puffed Stakermallows.  Then drizzle with all the different colored candy melts and sprinkle with pastel non-perils.  After the chocolate has had a chance to set, place them in a bag and tie with pastel tulle.

This post was going to be Summer S'mores + One more, but I had Two.
Here's the One More~
Wanting to add another pastel treat, I decided to make Mint Chocolate Brownie Buttons!
Topped with paper buttons I made using paper punches.
Each brownie was served in it's own little pastel paper cup.  It doesn't get any sweeter than this!
This will make TWO more~
Along with all the sweets, I really did serve up a few non sweets for those who don't consider chocolate lunch.  Like these little button and bowtie ham and cheese sandwiches!
Made just for the kiddos~
When I was a kid - this sandwich would have been perfect - I hated crust.
These little sandwiches were served on the buffet~
Looks like I forgot to take a photo after all the plates were filled...whoops!
Can you use your imagination?
These plates were filled with the most amazing lunch delicacies - NOT!
Stay tuned for more treats from the Sweet Twins Baby Shower!

 They're Cute as a Button!

  10. I am always amazed at what you can come up with....I know ideas come to you while you sleep and while your awake. My sleeping ideas always seem to be forgotten before I put two feet on the groud in the morning.

Any trick used to make sandwiches ahead? I've heard something about covering them with a damp paper towel...although that sounds "wet" to me.

    1. Yes, I do come up with many ideas during the night and that's why I keep a pad and pen in my nightstand. I scribble on it often!

As for making the sandwiches a day ahead of time (which I did) I placed them in a zip lock baggie and put them in the refrigerator. Right before serving, I placed them on the plate and they were fresh as can be!
