The Partiologist: Under the Sea Themed 1st Birthday!

Under the Sea Themed 1st Birthday!

Today I'm thinking back to the Under the Sea themed 1st Birthday Party for my granddaughter. My daughter hosted the party and I helped with her with the creations. We put our minds together and came up with the best indoor under the sea themed party ever!

Under the Sea 1st Birthday

Well, you know I had to make cookies and they were so much fun to create. One by one, sea creature by sea creature. My daughter made it clear, no mermaids allowed.

Jellyfish hanging from the ceiling.

Everything just as she had envisioned.

From the starfish sandwiches my daughter cut by hand with a starfish cookie cutter.

The tiny sea creatures were made with the best homemade animal cracker recipe. Let me know if you'd like the recipe!

I was so happy I had kept my little fish bowl, no worries never used for fish. After filling the bottom with dark and light blue sixlets, it looked great with the added cookies.

Pink sand dollar cake pops were added to the display.

The sand dollar was made with candy melts, so everything was edible.

It's hard to believe she'll be two this September.

The individually packaged Number 1 cookies that were displayed on the counter.

Blue and pink.

Remember the Sea Glass? If you want to make your own, check out the step by step tutorial HERE.

All bagged with a tiny pink chocolate seashell.

This time it looks like the Rice Krispie Treats were fished right out of the sea.

Topped with chocolate, cake lace and an edible chocolate starfish.

My daughter Heidi found this starfish dish, perfect to hold the shrimp cocktail.

Next post you'll see the Under the Sea themed 1st Birthday Cake and you're invited!

Just keep swimming!
